The Suffolk 9-12 Project political action group, perhaps better known as the East End’s Tea Party group, held its second annual tax day TEA Party in downtown Riverhead on Thursday, with TEA standing for Taxed Enough Already. Several hundred people attended the rally, at which Congressional hopeful Gary Berntsen delivered a speech, as did other supporters of the movement including the group’s founders, Bob and Mary Meyer of Baiting Hollow. Revelers shouted slogans and toted signs critical of the federal government.  See slide show.
