Riverhead woman caught selling smokes to minors

A Riverhead woman was arrested for selling cigarettes to a minor at Walgreens on Route 58 Friday during an undercover sting, Riverhead police said.
Police said Oksana Dolynska, 18, was busting during an investigation conducted by Riverhead police along with the Suffolk County Department of Health.
It is a crime in Suffolk County to sell cigarettes to anyone under 19.
Ms. Dolynska was charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
A Valero, Jetco, Sunoco, Empire, Superior, American, OK Petro and Gulf gas station as well as a 7-Eleven, Mae’s Market, Stop & Go Mini Mart, Polish Town Deli, Sindhu Grocery, Time to Eat and Riverside Deli, all in the Riverhead area, were also investigated without incident.
