Helen J. Reeve
Helen J. Reeve of Aquebogue died June 17 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead at age 80.
The youngest of nine children born to John and Karolina (Lescinski) Sydlowski, she was predeceased by her husband, George C. Reeve Sr. in 2002.
On their family farm in Aquebogue, they raised four children: George Jr., Bradford, John and Charlotte (Liebert).
She is survived by her children and their spouses, all of whom reside in Aquebogue; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; as well as siblings Maryann Koglin, Jenny Macksel, Edward, Stanley and Alex Sydlowski.
The family received visitors June 20 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. After church services at Old Steeple Community Church in Aquebogue June 21, she was laid to rest at Aquebogue Cemetery.
