Joseph R. Gallo

Joseph R. Gallo of Riverhead died June 14 in Stony Brook. He was 68.

Born Feb. 2, 1942, in Southampton to Ralph and Vera (Guida) Gallo, he served in the U.S. Army and the Air National Guard as a sergeant.

Mr. Gallo is survived by his sisters, Jacqueline Evans of Calverton and Theresa, of Riverhead.

The family will receive visitors today, Thursday, June 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, June 18, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
