Joseph C. Klodaski

Lifelong Riverhead resident Joseph C. Klodaski died there May 31 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 77.

He was born July 24, 1932, to Konstanty and Anna Klodaski. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Klodaski worked as a bartender at local restaurants around Riverhead and, according to his family, enjoyed fishing.

Predeceased by his brothers Konstanty and Frank, Mr. Klodaski is survived by his siblings, Anna Mikaliger and Peggy Perkins, both of Riverhead, and William, of North Carolina.

The family received visitors June 1 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Funeral services were held June 2 at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment with military honors was at Calverton National Cemetery.
