The Friends of Riverhead Free Library have been busy collecting and sorting back-to-school supplies donated to their ‘School Survivor Kit’ program. Program chairwoman Thelma Booker (pictured) worked with fellow Friends Mary Yarusso, Corinne McEvoy, Mary Ann Renz, Linda Carella and Sharon Garcia to gather materials for use by more than 2,600 students enrolled at Riverhead’s four elementary schools and Pulaski Street School.
