* Peconic River Yoga in Riverhead will sponsor a Oneness Blessing (Deeksha), on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. The fee is $20.
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 7:15 p.m., and continuing for nine weeks, the yoga center will offer a program of mindfulness based stress reduction with Nina Thorne. Call 369-9569.
* Riverhead-based McGuire’s Hearing Aids and Audiological Services participated in a recent regional mission to provide hearing services and devices to the Bronx community through Montefiore Medical Center. The event was sponsored by the Foundation for Sight and Sound, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with hearing and vision impairment.
