Carol V. Gibbs

Carol V. Gibbs of Riverhead died Oct. 13 at the home of her son, Frederick III, in Seaford. She was 74.
She was born in Eastport on Sept. 9, 1936, to Benjamin and Margaret (Steiger) Edwards.
Ms. Gibbs was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Jr., and her brothers, Joseph and Kenneth Edwards. In addition to her son, she is survived by her daughter, Lori McMahon of Lake Grove; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment took place Oct. 16 at Eastport Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. Memorial donations may be sent to Catholic Charities.
