• The Southold Town Recreation Center on Peconic Lane will host a blood drive Friday, Dec. 3, 2:30-7:45 p.m. Donors must be in generally good health and be between the ages of 17 and 76 and weigh at least 110 pounds. • The Town of Southold Human Services and Eastern Long Island Hospital, in conjunction with The Mental Health Association of Suffolk County, will host a discussion on Emotional Health: Strategies and Tips for Good Mental Health, at the Town Human Resources Center in Mattituck Friday, Dec. 3, 11 a.m.-noon.
