  • Good job NSWF! This new public park will be a fantastic resource for everyone on the North Fork to enjoy next summer and for generations to come. The NSWF worked so hard to get this far, and I wish them all the best in their future fundraising to maintain and improve the site. We should all help, it’s a great community project.

  • That’s not where Bonnies was and they don’t look anything like the previous owners. What’s your point?

  • They could freakin’ go to an Ivy League school for that…absolutely ridiculous…

  • Let me just start by saying I was at this budget workshop, but not sure of your reporter was. The 75 students Dr. DeLuca was referring to are special education students not students going to BOCES for occupational training. Maybe if the reporter had come in on time to the meeting and listened instead of texting she would have gotten her facts straight. Shame on you.

  • We just emailed you a link. In case you didn’t see it. Follow http://twitter.com/#!/northshoresun.

  • Thanks for clarifying, hopefully we can receive a response from the writer. Do you know if Dr. DeLuca’s quote regarding the aspiring plumber was taken out of context, or was it directly referring to this budget proposal?

  • Can you believe that we pay roughly the same amount, $73,000 per year, for each inmate imprisoned in Riker’s? Even though this budget proposal is insane, at least it’s going towards something that can help our future generations.
