Carol Ann (Buziak) Morris, 66, of Lisbon, N.H., died peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, after a long illness.
Carol was born in Greenport, N.Y., on August 31, 1944, to Edmund and Anna Buziak. She was raised in Riverhead, N.Y., and graduated from Riverhead High School, June 1962. She was a graduate of Southampton College, LIU, and Springfield College, Mass., where she earned her master’s degree.
After college, Carol became a beloved elementary school teacher in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. She retired in June 1997. She was a respected breeder and member of the Samoyed Club of America and Championed many Samoyeds over the years.
Surviving family members include her loving husband of 42 years, D. Michael Morris; brother, Richard Buziak of Riverhead, Long Island, N.Y.; loyal Samoyeds Sunny, Lacey, Yanni, and Molly; and many close friends.
Carol enjoyed her life fully. She loved her family, friends, Samoyeds, dog sledding and her music, which consisted of thousands of classic rock and roll artists. Her smile, strength and lively spirit will be with us forever.
