I woke up to snow this morning and thought of having a bowl of warm soup. Then I remembered the soup supper at Old Steeple Community Church in Aquebogue is just around the corner. It will be held Sunday, March 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children under 12. The menu will include a variety of soups, warm bread, delicious desserts and a beverage. To purchase tickets, call Lenny at 722-3580 or e-mail Donna at [email protected]. Plan to warm up and support our local community.

With all the snow melting last week, we found some Christmas decorations that had been blown away and buried by the snow. Though the 60-degree weather was definitely a tease, it is nice to know that spring is truly just around the corner. I hope you are enjoying the winter break from school and are ready to start again next week.
