Students in Terry Messina’s Riley Avenue Elementary second grade class got a visit from some fuzzy little creatures in honor of National Agriculture Week last Friday. County Legislator Ed Romaine (R-Center Moriches) and representatives from Hallockville Musuem Farm also visited the class, and the museum brought live chicks for the children to touch and hold.

Mr. Romaine read the book “Chicks and Chickens” by Gail Gibbons to the children and Hallockville donated the book to the school library.
