Riverhead woman arrested on drug dealing charge

A Riverhead woman was arrested on a drug dealing charge Thursday following a joint investigation by Riverhead and Suffolk County police.

Amy Filomena, 36, is facing a second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance charge, town police said.

Riverhead Police did not release details as to the nature of the investigation. Police also declined to say where and at what time the arrest occurred, or what type of drugs were involved.

Ms. Filomena was arraigned in Riverhead Town Justice Court where she is being held in lieu on $50,000 bail.
