Cops: Teen trio busted with stolen credit cards

Three teenagers were busted Thursday in Wading River for possessing stolen credit cards police have linked to thefts from parked cars in the area, authorities said.

Everett Vasquez, 18, of Medford was arrested Thursday along with Derek Reilly, 17 of Coram and a 14-year-old boy whom police did not identify.

Police spotted the trio about 3:40 p.m. acting suspiciously in a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee near St. Andrews Path, officials said.

Officers then spotted the allegedly stolen credit cards on the floor in the SUV.

Each teen is facing two counts of second-degree possession of stolen property, police said.
