Catherine I. Suden

Catherine I. Suden of Jamesport died May 20 in Riverhead. She was 49.

She was born Aug. 6, 1961, in Brooklyn to Margaret and Ronald Suden Sr. She was a graduate of Riverhead High School and worked as a title examiner.

Ms. Suden is survived by her mother, of Jamesport, and her siblings, Debra Beni and Melody, both of Riverhead; Gale and Ronald Jr., both of Jamesport; and Lauren Catalano of Punta Gorda, Fla. She was predeceased by her father.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 28, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, with Father Thomas Coby officiating. Cremation will be private.
