1) When did you get the car?
I got it in the Fall of 2010, but it has been in my heart for 20 years. I met a guy 20 years ago in Medford who kept it for all these years.

2) What shape was it in?
It is in the original condition unrestored, original paint job and interior. The only thing I replaced was the carpet.

3) What was the biggest challenge in restoring it, and did you do the work yourself?
The only thing I had done was replace the master cylinder, it took two feet to stop the car. I had it done by East End Customs. I didn’t do any of the work except the tune-ups and other things to keep it running.

4) What’s your favorite thing/feature on the car?
It is mine! I’m in love with the whole thing. This is my retirement. When I was growing up in New Hampshire a kid on my block had a 1955 red and white one. It’s been my dream to have one ever since.

5) What was the first car you owned, make and model?
My first car was a 1957 Ford Fairlane, brown and white. I got it in 1964 and went to Vietnam in 1966 and my father had to sell it when I was gone because you couldn’t leave cars on the street.
