Photos: Fourth of July celebration on the riverfront

Fourth of July revelers descended on downtown Riverhead Sunday for an Independence Day Celebration along the Peconic River. The festivities kicked off at 5 p.m. and went until after dark. Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could headlined a day of entertainment for the kids. The event, which was sponsored by the Riverhead Business Improvement District, ended with a fireworks display in the night sky.
