Josephine D. Sideratos

Longtime Flanders resident Josephine D. Sideratos died July 9 at the age of 92.

Born Feb. 15, 1919, in Hastings, Pa., to Ross and Laura (Paganno) Morealli, she worked at Kratoville’s Luncheonette and as a clerk at Telecom (now Verizon). She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and sang in the choir at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead.

Ms. Sideratos is survived by her children, Maria Futerko and John, both of Riverhead, and Laura Feuerman of Hampton Bays; her siblings, Richard, Maria and Dorothy Morealli, all of Pennsylvania;  seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation took place July 11 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service was held July 12 at St. John the Evangelist, with Bishop Emil Wcela officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery.
