Mary Stoddard

Riverhead resident Mary Stoddard died July 11 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. She was 85.

She was born Dec. 1, 1925, in Middle Island to Louis and Mary Kish. She graduated from Eastport High School and later married Harold Stoddard.

After her husband’s death in 1966, she drove a school bus for Adelwerth Bus Corporation in Eastport.

Ms. Stoddard is survived by three of her five children, Joyce Agostino of Riverhead, Harold (Bud), of Flanders, and John, of Manorville; and six grandchildren.

A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated July 14 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, both in Center Moriches.
