Seamon Theodore Keleski

Riverhead resident Seamon Theodore Keleski, formerly of Cutchogue, died July 24 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 91.

He was born Oct. 28, 1919, in Greenport to Stanislav and Cheslawa (Pulkosnik) Keleski. He married Marie Kacetl on April 29, 1951, in Cutchogue, and he worked on his Oregon Road farm for all his life.

He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, family said.

Predeceased by his wife in March 2011, his sisters Stacia Sczepanik in 1990, Ann McCaffery in 1996 and Sophie Abramowski in 2009, and his brother, Karney Keleski, he is survived by his sisters Ceil Zak of Riverhead and Edith Burmester of Spring Hill, Fla., and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours took place July 26 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A service was held July 27 at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, both in Cutchogue.
