1) When did you get the car?
I purchased it seven years ago in 2004. It was advertised in Chevy Corvette Trader magazine. It was located in Georgetown, South Carolina.

2) What shape was it in?
It was just like this except I redid the interior. I bought it from the second owner. The guy told me it had the original 27,000 miles.

3) What was the biggest challenge in restoring it, and did you do the work yourself?.
I really didn’t have to do much. I detailed the engine compartment, putting the correct hoses and clamps and painted the engine Chevy orange. I did the seats and carpet and put new suspension and new brakes on it, the usual maintenance. If you don’t use these cars things break.

4) What’s your favorite thing/feature on the car?
I guess that it is a convertible. I mostly drive it to car shows three or four times a summer.

5) What was the first car you owned, make and model?
A 1967 Corvette, it was white. I bought it in 1978 for $2,900. I sold it in 1982 for $10,000. I should have seen the value in it and just parked it in the garage. I own two others, a 1960 turquoise Corvette and a 1967 Corvette coupe. It is an addiction. This one I have for sale for $66,000.
