North Fork Breast Health Coalition walk raises $20,000

The 13th annual North Fork Breast Health Coalition 5K Walk was held at the Tanger Outlets Sunday. The event raised more than $20,000 for the organization, which provides support and advocacy for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.

More than 300 people participated in the walk and Team Pulaski, headed by Candice Perry, won the award for the team bringing in the most pledge money.

The North Fork Breast Health Coalition works to encourage and assist in the prevention, early intervention, and cure of breast cancer through advocacy, awareness, networking, and research, according to its website.
