Riverhead Police seek help finding ATV thief

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who stole a Suzuki ATV from a Riverhead area home in August.

Town police said someone stole a 2005 Suzuki LTZ-400 ATV from the bed of a pickup truck parked at a Sound Avenue home on Aug. 20. The vehicle is valued at more than $2,500.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and all calls will be kept confidential.
