Recap: Live chat with Riverhead town supervisor candidate Greg Fischer

News-Review editor Michael White is hosting a live chat with Riverhead town supervisor candidate Greg Fischer of the Riverhead First party from 1 to 2 p.m. today, Thursday. Mr. White stresses that he won’t be transcribing Mr. Fischer’s party platform, but asking his own questions — designed to get Mr. Fischer off his talking points — and tossing reader questions at Mr. Fischer, all with three-minute time limits for answers.

He’ll be pulling soundbites from Mr. Fischer’s answers and posting them on the blog. Mr. Fischer was not able to make last Friday’s endorsement interviews with the town candidates, which we also blogged live.
