Children dressed as Captain Hook, a candy corn witch and two Alice in Wonderlands were some of the approximately 100 people at the annual Jamesport Fire Department Halloween parade Monday.
Marchers started at the Manor Lane firehouse and walked across Main Road to the George G. Young Community Center on South Jamesport Avenue. Kids competed for prizes in a costume contest and other games.
“This is the biggest turnout in years,” said event coordinator Howard Waldman.
