Linda Peck

Former Selden resident Linda Peck died Oct. 25 at her home in Jamesport, where she had lived for 10 years. She was 71.

She was born Feb. 16, 1940, in the Bronx to Lewis and Hilda Blume and was a social worker at Colonial Youth and Family Service in Mastic. She also volunteered at Joseph’s Storehouse ministry at The Refuge in East Northport and at East End Hospice.

Ms. Peck is survived by her husband, John; her daughters, Kristen Fuchs and Tracy Corbett; her son, John III; her brothers, Kenneth and Richard Blume; and five grandchildren.

Visiting hours took place Oct. 28 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation was private.
