Kristie Jeski

Kristie Jeski of Flanders died due to complications of pneumonia on November 14, 2011, surrounded by family at Peconic Bay Medical Center.

She was born on July 10, 1988, in Riverhead to Stephan and Patricia (Larsen) Jeski.

She loved to be outside, walking, swimming, spending time with family and participating in Developmental Disabilities Day Hab program in Riverhead.

Kristie is survived by her parents, Stephan and Tricia; grandmothers, Pat Larsen of Flanders and Vivian Jeski of Santa Cruz, Calif.; uncle, Johan Larsen; and her cousins, Karsten, Kristoffer and Kyle. Kristie was predeceased by her grandfathers, Karsten Larsen and Buddy Jeski, and aunt, Cindee Jeski.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Flanders Fire Department on Saturday, November 19, 2011, from 1 to 4 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) (Riverhead Day Hab Program) in honor of Kristie Jeski.
