Riverhead resident wins $25,000 from scratch-off game

One lucky Magic 8 Ball scratch-off ticket landed a Riverhead man $25,000, the New York Lottery announced Monday morning.

Barry Cain received the winnings after purchasing his ticket from Hess Mart at 870 Old Country Road in Riverhead.

Is Mr. Cain one happy man today? “Signs point to yes.”
