Bertha Trinowski

Bertha Trinowski of Riverhead died Feb. 5 at Southampton Hospital. She was 91.

She had previously lived in Aquebogue and in Cutchogue, where she was born April 27, 1920, to Paul and Mary (Chituk) Krystopowicz. She married Theodore Trinowski in Arkansas in 1942.

Ms. Trinowski worked as a salesperson at Little Chief Farm Stand in Aquebogue and, according to family members, enjoyed playing bingo.

Predeceased by her son, Theodore Jr., in 1964, she is survived by her husband; her daughters, Maryann Simchick of Riverhead and Frances Kreitsek of Florida; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are set for Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
