Riverhead Blotter: Riverhead man charged with fleeing police

• George P. Psomas, 44, of Riverhead was arrested and charged with reckless driving and unlawfully fleeing a police officer Sunday night. He was taken to police headquarters, processed and held in lieu of $500 bail, police said.

• An unknown person threw 31 eggs at a vehicle in Wading River. The driver said the car was not damaged in the incident.

•Hugo Pirir-Mach, 23, of Calverton was arrested and charged driving while intoxicated Saturday night after he was involved in a car accident. Mr. Pirir-Mach was processed and held for arraignment.

• Michael Street, 40, was arrested on Railroad Avenue in Riverhead Saturday night and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and public urination. He was processed and handed over to Southampton police on an outstanding warrant.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
