Blog Recap: Riverhead defeats Lindenhurst, will play for county title

The Riverhead girls basketball team advanced to the Class AA county finals after a 66-51 victory over No. 2 Lindenhurst Saturday afternoon at Farmingdale State College. The Blue Waves will play Tuesday for their second county title in program history and first in nearly three decades.
