Watch the Blue Waves on the big screen at Chamber event

The News-Review is sponsoring a Riverhead Chamber of Commerce networking dinner and beer-tasting event Friday night that will showcase beers from four Suffolk County breweries.

It will also showcase the Riverhead Blue Waves girls basketball game. The News-Review is live-streaming the 6 p.m. state semifinals game from upstate Troy, N.Y., and the game will be up on the big screens at the event. NCAA tournament games will also be on.

As for the refreshments, Long Ireland (Riverhead), Blue Point (Patchogue), Greenport Harbor (Greenport) and Southampton Publick House (Southampton) will be pouring locally made ales. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and runs to 9 p.m. in the Sea Star Ballroom at the L.I. Aquarium & Exhibition Center.

Tickets cost $45 per person for Chamber of Commerce members and $55.00 per person for non-members. Or $65 at the door. Purchase tickets here.
