Maureen Sutherland

Maureen Sutherland of Aquebogue died March 26 at her home. She was 74.

She was born in Brooklyn Oct. 21, 1937, to Paula (Ture) and Harold Sutherland. She earned a bachelor’s degree and was a comptroller at Silo in Central Islip.

Ms. Sutherland is survived by her brothers, Harold, Robert and Thomas.

Visiting hours will take place Friday, March 30, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, Diane Zeluff officiating. Cremation will take place Monday, April 2, at Washington Memorial Park in Mount Sinai.
