Ann Griemsmann

Ann Griemsmann died April 4 at her home in Calverton. She was 48.

Born in Maryland March 14, 1964, to Robert and Delores Griemsmann, she attended Northport High School and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She worked at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises Inc. (FREE) in Old Bethpage, an organization that provides services for people with disabilities in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Family members said she loved horror movies and enjoyed reading science fiction and books by Stephen King.

Ms. Griemsmann is survived by her parents and her sister, Lisa Hudson, all of Northport.

A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, April 11, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, Father Larry Duncklee officiating. Cremation will be private. Arrangements were handled by McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
