Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Everyone’s talking about the Tall Ships arriving in Greenport, but there are other great events happening this weekend. Visit events.timesreview.com to view all of the events and stay with timesreview.com for complete coverage of the Tall Ships.

Memorial Day is a time for reflection and acknowledgement of servicemen and women who have fought for our country. Hope for the Warriors is having a 100-mile Relay Saturday. Read more about it here.

Another organization working to help support soldiers is the Wounded Warrior Project. They will be hosting a Car Show at Martha Clara on Saturday.

New Suffolk’s Annual Chowder festival is taking place at the New Suffolk waterfront on Saturday. They’ve got everything from chowder to live music and a sailboat auction.

Head down to Main Street, Riverhead for the 16th Annual Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival whether there are plenty of activities for adults and children.

Many organizations are having open houses, like the Long Island Antique Power Authority in Riverhead and Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island. Check the events pages or pick up a copy of the Suffolk Times or Riverhead News-Review for more information.
