Lifelong Riverhead resident Mildred A. Oliver died June 18 at her home. She was 84.
She was born Feb. 2, 1928, in Riverhead to William and Anna Smith and was a homemaker for most of her adult life.
Family members said she enjoyed bingo, game shows and going to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald, in 1992 and her sons David and William, she is survived by her children Tracy Moore, Donald Jr., Fred, Steven and Daniel, all of Riverhead, Harry, of California, Ricky, of North Carolina, Shirley Elliston of Arizona and Suzanne Lynch of Center Moriches; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Friday, June 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a service will be held Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverhead Cemetery.
