Five ways to celebrate Fourth of July on the North Fork

New Suffolk Fourth of July Parade

The New Suffolk Civic Association is hosting a parade at 11 a.m. The line of march travels from the corner of Tuttle and New Suffolk roads to Southold Town Beach.

Southold Fourth of July Parade

The Southold Village Merchants will host a parade in Southold at noon. The parade route follows Main Road from Boisseau Avenue to Tuckers Lane. For more information, call 765-4100.

Riverhead Fourth of July Celebration

There will be a family concert downtown at the Peconic Riverfront. The Blues Brotherhood will perform at 7 p.m. For more information, visit riverheadbid.com.

Greenport Firemen’s Carnival

The fourth annual event in Greenport sponsored by Phenix Hook & Ladder-Relief Hose companies will take place at Polo Grounds on Moore’s Lane from 6 to 11 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m. Pay-one-price wristbands every day. For more information, call 477-9801.

Family Festival in Wading River

The Peconic Bay Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting a festival across from the CVS pharmacy on Route 25A in Wading River from 6 to 11 p.m. Amusement rides, food vendors and more. Proceeds benefit PBMC. The event continues each night through July 7. For more information, call 548-6021.
