Video: ‘Captain America’ is back with a homemade creation

GIANNA VOLPE PHOTO | The Stealth has a four-cylinder, 1.6-liter twin-cam efficient engine. Arthur Rast III says most people could probably get 40 iles to the gallon or better in it, but he gets fewer because he “likes to beat on it.”

Arthur Rast III is better known to his friends as “Artie.” To most others he’s the unknown captain of a blue spaceship-like vehicle that can often be seen at the circle-side 7-Eleven in Riverhead during the summer months. Mr. Rast, who’s as friendly as they come and then some, happily talked with us this week about himself and his extraordinary creation, The Stealth, so we could find out more.

Check out the video below and pick up a copy of this week’s newspaper to read a Q&A with Mr. Rast.
