Storm leads to minor flooding, power outages in Riverhead

On the same morning the National Weather Service issued an urban flood warning for Suffolk County, Riverhead streets have begun to take on water and power outages have been reported.

Currently 102 LIPA customers are dealing with power outages in Northville, but restoration is expected to be complete by 1 p.m..

The flood warning was lifted at 10:45 a.m. but the rain is not expected to taper off until after 3 p.m., according to weather.com.
