Two weeks, three arrests for Flanders woman

A driving while intoxicated arrest Saturday marked the third time a Flanders woman has been arrested by Southampton Town police in just over two weeks.

Tammy Cipriano, 44, of Quogue Avenue in Flanders was charged with DWI, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and moving from a lane unsafely about 12:45 a.m. Saturday on Cypress Avenue and Flanders Road in Flanders.

Ms. Cipriano was pulled over for crossing over the white shoulder line and, according to police, had slurred speech, alcohol on her breath and was found to be in possession of crack cocaine.

She had previously been charged with an open alcohol container violation on July 30 in Riverside and with prostitution and public lewdness on July 28, also in Riverside, according to police.
