Recap: Town Board tables Wading River zoning changes

The Riverhead Town Board put off voting on resolutions Tuesday night that would have adopted zoning changes proposed by the Wading River/Route 25A Corridor study, which reduces retail uses.

The board did not publicly say why they were putting off the measure, which members plan to discuss more Thursday.

The board had also planned to give a proclamation to the Riverhead Ambulance Corps for its charitable work through the “Heidi’s Helping Angels” nonprofit group.
