Two Riverhead men have been arrested in connection with the Nov. 7 armed robbery at Barth’s Pharmacy on East Main Street, Riverhead Town police said.

Arnell Nash, 21, and Erick Darden, 19, have been charged in the robbery where three men stormed the downtown drugstore at 6 p.m. with a handgun.

Wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, the suspects had grabbed assorted merchandise and cash while holding the employees at gunpoint and had fled the store through a rear door, officials said.

Mr. Nash and Mr. Darden were charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of third-degree robbery, officials said. Mr. Darden was also charged with two counts of second-degree burglary in connection with separate residential burglaries, police said.

A third suspect has not been charged yet, police said.

Both men, who have also been charged with robbing a Riverside gas station at gunpoint on Halloween, are currently incarcerated at the Suffolk County correctional facility. No other details were immediately available.
