A woman suffered a minor arm injury after a car was T-boned while leaving Tanger Outlet Center Thursday afternoon, Riverhead Town police said.

The woman was making a left turn in a white Lincoln sedan out of the center when a 2001 Chevy Camaro headed east on Route 58 collided with the vehicle, police said.

While the man driving the Camaro was uninjured, the woman had to be cut out of the car at Riverhead ambulance crews’ request.

Riverhead firefighters arrived on the scene and cut off the driver side door of the vehicle, allowing ambulance volunteers to get the woman out of the car, police said.

The victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, an officer at the scene said. There were no passengers in either car, police said. Route 58 was briefly closed as the scene was cleared.
