Three men were taken to an area hospital after a Hummer T-boned another vehicle Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Route 105 and County Road 104 in Riverside, Southampton Town Police said.

The Hummer, which had two men in it, was headed north on 104 when it collided with the other vehicle that was traveling south at about 4 p.m., Southampton Sergeant Michael Burns said. The intersection remained closed until about 4:40 p.m.

The two men in the Hummer, which ended up tumbling into a sunken wooded area near the intersection,  were driven in another vehicle to Peconic Bay Medical Center. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to PBMC as well, police said. They did not appear to suffer serious injuries.

Members of the Flanders Fire Department popped open the door of the southbound vehicle, a fire official on the scene said.
