Cops: Riverhead woman arrested for DWI
A Riverhead woman was arrested in Mattituck for driving while intoxicated late Friday night, police said.
Southold Town police said they stopped Mynor Avalos, 39, about midnight on County Road 48 for failing to stay in her lane. Ms. Avalos was given field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.
Ms. Avalos was charged with DWI, unlicensed operation of a vehicle and another traffic violation, authorities said.
She was transported and held for morning arraignment, police said.
