Audrey M. McGuinness

Baiting Hollow resident Audrey M. McGuinness died March 5 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 91.

She was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Jamaica, Queens, to Raymond and Agnes Goetschius.

A homemaker, Ms. McGuinness enjoyed being a grandmother and traveling, according to family members.

She was predeceased in 2004 by her husband, Richard, and is survived by her daughters, Beth Backel of Baiting Hollow and Pat Brooks of Floral Park, and four grandchildren. 

Visiting hours were held March 8 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a funeral service took place March 9. Interment followed at Flushing Cemetery.
