Edna M. Stillman

Edna M. Stillman, formerly of Riverhead and Uniondale, died April 22 in South Charlotte, N.C., where she had resided. She was 102 years old.

Born March 7, 1911, in East Moriches to Caroline and William Stillman, she graduated from Riverhead High School in 1929. She worked for Syrena Stackpole, Esq. in Riverhead, then for the Nassau County Surrogate’s Court.

Ms. Stillman was a 70-year member of the Fraternal Order of the Rebekahs.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Irving and Lester.

Visiting hours will take place Friday, April 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
