Rose Marie Zielinski

Rose Marie Zielinski of Riverhead died June 1. She was 87 years old.

She was born Jan. 23, 1926, in Calverton to Michael and Seraphina (Daniels) Czygier. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, canning and baking, according to family members.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, Ms. Zielinski is survived by her daughter, Linda Stepnoski of Riverhead; a sister, Josephine Victoria; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family received visitors June 3 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service took place June 4 at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead, followed by interment at the church cemetery.
