Cops: Riverhead woman busted for driving drunk in Cutchogue

A Riverhead woman has been arrested for driving while intoxicated in Cutchogue Friday night, Southold Town police said.

Raquel Mahon, 44, was driving a blue Ford pick-up truck erratically on Route 25 in Cutchogue about 9:23 p.m., according to a police statement. Another driver spotted Ms. Mahon driving in and out of her lane and called police, who found Ms. Mahon and pulled her over.

Police found she was drunk and had a suspended license, and arrested her at the scene, police said. She was charged with DWI, and charges for a suspended license and a traffic violation, according to the statement.

She was taken to police headquarters and held for arraignment, police said.
